Covenant Choir

  • Rehearsals Wednesday, 7:00 - 8:30 pm (August thru May)

  • Open to all adults and interested youth - Experience helpful, but not necessary

  • Sings for 11:00 am worship most Sundays

  • Sings a major choral work once a year

  • Sings in FPC church fellowship functions & community

Youth Choir

  • Rehearsals Sunday, 5:15 - 6:00 pm (September thru April)

  • Youth grades 6th through 12th

  • Bi-annual musical, Choir festival trips

  • Sings for Sunday morning worship 3-4 times a year

Cherub Choir

  • Rehearsals Sunday, 5:15 - 6:00 pm (September thru Palm Sunday)

  • Children grades K - 1st

  • Introduces basic music skill through instruments and singing

  • Sings in worship services two to three times per year

Youth Handbell Choir

  • Rehearsals Sunday, 4:15 - 5:00 pm (September thru April)

  • Youth Members grades 6th through 12th

  • Playing other instruments for worship services & community

  • Music reading experience helpful but not required

Chapel Chimes

  • Rehearsals Sunday, 5:15 - 6:00 pm (September thru May)

  • Open to grades 2nd through 6th as spots are available

  • Learns ringing techniques & music for worship

  • Worship participation three times a year

Music Ministry

At First Pres, we believe that music is a powerful tool for worship, community, and spiritual growth. Our music ministry exists to glorify God, inspire hearts, and lead our congregation in the beautiful expression of praise through song.

Whether through our vibrant choir, talented worship teams, beautiful handbells, or instrumental ensembles, our mission is to create an atmosphere where the love of Christ is felt and experienced by all. We welcome musicians of all ages and skill levels to join us in sharing their gifts and talents, as we seek to honor God through music.

Chapel Choir

  • Children grades 2nd through 5th

  • Exposure to a variety of musical styles and concepts

  • Participate in annual musical and/or Christmas Pageant

  • Participate in worship services

Memorial Handbell Choir

  • Rehearsals Wednesday, 5:15 - 6:00 pm (September thru May)

  • Adult and Senior High Members

  • Music Experience is most helpful

  • Participates in worship four times a year

  • Performs in community & attends handbell festivals

Summer Choir

  • June through mid-August

  • Sunday rehearsals at 10:15 am for 11:00 am worship

  • Open to anyone aged 16+
